Beijing 2022, costume worn by a member of the children’s choir who sang the Olympic anthem at the Opening Ceremony. The Olympic anthem was sung by 40 children from the Malanhua’er children’s choir from Fuping County, a mountainous area in Hebei Province. The design of their costumes was inspired by the traditional arts of this province. As a reminder that 2022 was the Year of the Tiger in the Chinese calendar, the costume featured stylised tiger heads to symbolise cuteness, health and growth. Donated by the OCOG
