London 2012, costume worn at the Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony in the Gravity segment. This costume was inspired by the British film The Draughtsman s Contract , directed by Peter Greenaway. It was worn during the Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony, in a segment entitled "Gravity", in reference to the work of Isaac Newton and Britain s contributions to international world science. The London Paralympic Games were of particular importance in terms of coverage and interest in Paralympic sports and athletes by audiences with and without an impairment. Purchase
