For Telmo Guerra, Pierre de Coubertin opened the door to the modern Olympic Games, while Thomas Bach symbolises the door open to the unity and diversity of the Games. Guerra explains: I often use doors to create my works, because a Door represents hope, opportunities, new beginnings and transformation.
