Beijing 2022, Swiss team coat signed by Fanny SMITH (SUI), ski cross bronze medallist. Fanny Smith finished in third place in the women s ski cross. She was, however, demoted to fourth place for placing her left ski in the lane of a competitor, Germany's Daniela Maier. She appealed to the International Ski and Snowboard Federation and, nine days after the race, was promoted to third place. But it was only in December 2022 that the Court of Arbitration for Sport decided that third place would be shared by the two athletes. The ceremony to award the bronze medal to Smith was held on 18 April 2023 at The Olympic Museum. She said that this jacket had been with her for the whole process and had real sentimental value.
