Physical description

Black silver paddle, manufactured by Carbontechnic, with the flag of Slovakia on the blades. The inscription "raab paddle in the center of the paddle. The latter was signed by the athlete on the right blade, on the side of the flag.

Beijing 2008, paddle used and top worn by Elena KALISKÁ (SVK), gold medallist in the canoe slalom. Elena Kaliská competed in four consecutive editions of the Games from Atlanta 1996. At her last two editions, in Athens and Beijing, she won gold. She used this paddle in her gold medalwinning race at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Donated by the athlete on a visit to the museum
