Quanshuo Ge is an ice-dancing skater who competed with his partner Liu Tong. Their coaches were skaters Xun Zheng and Eva Kuts. The costumes were created by Atelier Lara and inspired by the music of their choreography. The theme of the programme immersed the audience to a mysterious future. Therefore, the pieces created had to evoke the idea of the future, designing something unusual and unfamiliar, making the athletes appear as travellers through the universe. To capture the public's attention, the team decided to use a range of materials with different textures. Fluid knitted fabrics, smooth and shiny holographic fabrics and textured sequins adorned with pearls - these materials are interwoven into the costumes, forming a coherent whole. The costumes therefore had to be out of the ordinary and make the athletes appear like time travellers.
