Paris 2024 – art posters for the Olympic and Paralympic Games: “Interval” and “Silence” by Stéphanie Lacombe. There is almost a documentary-like quality to the way Stéphanie Lacombe uses photography. After speaking to a breaking champion and a Paralympic fencer, she wanted to depict the ordinary, day-to-day lives of French athletes at home. “I thought about those moments of solitude that elite athletes must experience when they are mentally preparing for events, and also immediately before they compete.” Donated by the OCOG
