Grenoble 1968, panel illustrating the adventures of Shuss, the Games mascot.
Physical description
Pencil, gouache and watercolour on cardboard showing Shuss in the mountains, observed by animals (chamois, badger, hare, fox, hare, partridge, etc.). The text pasted on the tracing paper reads "Climbing from peak to peak, leaping over crevasses, Shuss heads for the top of the mountain, where the storms that threaten the valleys roar." "It's over! With a quick leap Shuss disappears, shouting: - I'm going to get the flame." "Only the capricious chamois pursues him. The other animals have stopped to catch their breath."
