Chronograph with two split-seconds. Double back and double push-piece. Hand-wound movement. The chronograph opens manually at the back. Several numbers are inscribed there, possibly serial numbers.

Amsterdam 1928, chronograph used by Jan SCHUTTE (NED) during the athletics events. Jan Schutte was a timekeeper at the Amsterdam 1928 athletics events. The Official Report of these Games states that each timekeeper had to use their own instrument. Despite our research, it is not possible to give the name of the manufacturer without dismantling the item. However, it looks like models that could have been made by Longines, a major manufacturer of sports stopwatches and chronographs. Donation
