Paris 2024 – leotard worn by Darja VARFOLOMEEV (GER), Olympic champion in the rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around competition. Some gymnasts chose to wear fulllength leotards. This one was worn by Darja Varfolomeev in the ribbon exercise. Her coach, Yulia Raskina, explained: “We wanted to create a stage costume that showed off the ballerina’s legs and bust ‘with aplomb’. The jumpsuit includes a short jacket, with a champagne-coloured fabric in the slit at the chest, imitating a vest with a high collar. The main decorative detail on the jacket is a large crystal brooch at the neckline.” Donated by the athlete
