Leotard worn during the qualification phase by Kaylia NEMOUR (ALG), Olympic champion in the artistic gymnastics uneven bars, Paris 2024 Kayla Nemour decided to compete for her father’s home country of Algeria. In Paris, she became the third female athlete to win gold for Algeria, after Hassiba Boulmerka in 1992 and Nouria Benida in 2000. Her incredible performances in 2023 resulted in a move being named after her: the “Nemour”, a complex, elegant transition between the bars that showcases remarkable technical skill and flexibility. "I’m very happy to have won this medal for Algeria. I hope I made them proud."
