Paris 2024 – costume worn during the “Parisian Love” section of the Opening Ceremony. After the political emancipation sequence, the “Parisian Love” section celebrated French literature and the plurality of love, with a classical singer performing a version of the famous Habanera from Carmen. The costumes worn by the dancers at the National Library were inspired by the work of surrealist poet André Breton. Donated by the OCOG
