Paris 2024 – Henry IV and Louis XIV costumes and Marie Antoinette prototype costume for the “Sporting Spirit” section of the Opening Ceremony. The “Sporting Spirit” section was staged between Pont des Invalides and Pont de l’Alma. Thirty-eight performers dressed as historical figures demonstrated a range of urban sports, including skateboarding and breaking, on floating ramps designed to look like French gardens. The costume intended to be worn by a Marie-Antoinette doing BMX freestyle ultimately wasn’t used. Donated by the OCOG
