Paris 2024 – tops worn by participants in the Marathon Pour Tous.
Katrine Switzer, who became the first woman to run the Boston Marathon as an officially registered competitor in 1967, was one of the ambassadors for the Marathon Pour Tous, the first-ever mass-participation event to be held during the Olympic Games. This festive sporting event, which was open to the public, proved to be an unforgettable experience for the participants and those cheering them on. Two of the competitors decided to donate their running tops to the museum.
