Milano Cortina 2026: “Journey Through Time: 2000–2026” costumes worn at the Opening Ceremony. The “Journey Through Time” segment took the audience on a journey through 100 years of the Olympic Winter Games. Memories came to life in a musical sequence that spanned from the 1920s to the present day. The eras were not recreated realistically, but were presented as stylised interpretations with recognisable cultural symbols. The 1920s–1940s evoked jazz and swing, while the years 2000–2026 were illustrated by costumes in the colours of the Olympic medals. Donated by the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026
