The 139th IOC Session took place in two parts: at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC) in Beijing on 3 and 19 February 2022, and in Lausanne on 20 May 2022. Among other things, new IOC Members were elected, the Olympic Cup was awarded to the People’s Republic of China, further steps were taken to establish an IOC Human Rights Strategic Framework, and measures were identified to continue to enhance Games delivery.
