Notes
Albertville 1992, uniforms won by young Savoyards carrying the medals.
The Official Report of the Albertville 1992 Games tell us: “The costumes of the children carrying bouquets and medals were created by the costume designer for the Opening and Closing
Ceremonies, Philippe Guillotel. Inspired by the traditional Savoyard outfit, they were adapted to reflect the spirit that Philippe Découflé wanted to convey.”
Many children were involved in the Albertville ceremonies including Séverine du Peloux who sang the Marseillaise and François-Cyrille Grange who lit the Olympic cauldron with Michel Platini.
