Zahir-Naseer affirm that the Maldives Olympic Committee will henceforth become a member of the family of Olympic Nations. The Maldives Olympic Committee which has already formally applied for recognition and which in due course when the International Olympic Committee approves would formally be admitted to the IOC, will from now on words carry on the full duties of a recognized National Olympic Committee.
